So it has been about 24/7 here, and it has been African chaos all that time. So right now Ken (the owner) is not here so it's up to me to make sure this place is running they way it is suppose to run, wich is a challenge on its own,....... more

The atmosphere is great, I live in a big Safari tent with a bouble bed and some storage space, and every evening we have dinner around the fireplace. Sit there talking to the guests till late at night.

The staff is great and open for any changes I want to make. Wich makes it easyer to start making a profit again, cous it was getting a bit tight here.

Comming tuesday I have an appointment for a workpermit, yay, so I can finally work here legal!! So talk to you later

Got my pills, did my last shoppings, all done and ready to go. Just have to put all the stuff I want to take to Africa in my Backpack. Hmmm,..... and stay under 23 kilo,.. hope I still have room for my dutch candy!

Just 3 more days to go, and I am nervous and excited at the same time. The only thing I still have to sort out are my pills against malaria. I can't have Lariam since it will make me go all funny in the head, and Malarone is about 2.50 euro a pill, 7 days a week,... hmmm. My insurance ain't to happy about that, so the'll only give me one month of Malarone.

14.09.2007 - Visa is here!!

Applied and picked up my Visa for Kenya today. Had to wait 4 hours for them to decided where to put the stamp. So I spend some time hanging around in a park in The Hague. Tomorrow I'll get my vactinations and some malaria pills.
